Last week, voters were exploring the world of AI-generated images, audio, and video in celebration of British Science Week. They considered the increased sophistication of content created using artificial intelligence and how this is influencing everything from popular culture to politics.

In celebration of International Women’s Day on 8th March, voters discussed role models. Across all the lessons, they had the opportunity to discuss the people they look up to, and reflect on whether gender should be a contributing factor when it comes to who influences them.

Young people explored the rise in instances of violence against shop workers across the UK in recent months, and the action recently taken by the Scottish Government to make this its own offence. During the lessons, they considered the current statistics around shoplifting and other activity, before deciding whether changing the law is the best course of action.
